FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
DO YOU PROVIDE FREE CONSULTATIONS BEFORE ANY DECISIONS ARE MADE?
Yes. I will be happy to meet with you to determine if we are a good fit for each other and develop a plan together.
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN HOME CARE AND HOME HEALTH CARE?
A Helping Hand provides home care.
Home care is ‘support in the home’ and is helpful for individuals having difficulty performing activities of daily living. This includes cleaning the house, doing laundry, transportation to and from appointments, shopping for groceries or running errands. If driving has become difficult, providing transportation to an individual can lead to a bit more freedom and the chance to get out and about. If a recent surgery has limited mobility, home care can help when family or friends are not available.
Home health care is necessary when a client requires skilled nursing assistance. A Helping Hand does NOT provide this kind of care. Providing medication and medically monitoring an individual needs to be provided by a skilled professional

Think they do not need the drug.
Feel the drug isn’t working.

WILL YOU CLEAN MY HOME?
Light housekeeping includes vacuuming, cleaning up the kitchen, wiping down the countertops, and bathrooms. Providing personal care to our clients is what I do best.
